Sonomic Signs Deal to Distribute Zero-G’s Entire World Class Sample Collection Online
Agreement Brings Together One of The World’s Largest Sample CD Publishers with World’s Largest Online Library of Samples and Sound FX
NEW YORK, NY - June 19, 2001 - Sonomic (www.sonomic.com), the world’s largest online library of professional samples and sound FX, today announced that it has signed a deal with Zero-G to distribute Zero-G’s entire sample catalog online. Zero-G is one of the world’s largest publishers of sample CDs, bringing over 120,000 new sounds to Sonomic.
As part of the deal, Sonomic will offer content from some of the most critically acclaimed sample collections, including Beneath the Planet of the Breaks, Deepest India, Chemical Beats, and N.Y. Cutz. Samples from these and other Zero-G collections will be available for download from Sonomic beginning this week, with new titles added daily in the weeks to follow. In total, Sonomic will offer content from over 120 Zero-G collections, significantly adding to Sonomic’s current library of over 100,000 samples and sound FX. All new samples produced by Zero-G will also be added to the Sonomic library.

Users can search Sonomic for individual Zero-G loops and one-shots by instrument, style, key, artist and title, among other search parameters. All samples can be previewed in RealAudio and Windows Media formats before being purchased, and can be downloaded in .wav and .aiff. Certain Zero-G collections will also be available in a variety of multisample formats, initially including SampleCell and Unity DS-1 multisample formats.
