Sonomic Signs Exclusive Digital Distribution Deal With Q Up Arts


Sonomic Enables Users to Download Samples From Q Up Arts’ Legendary Sample Collections


NEW YORK, NY - Febuary 20, 2001 - Sonomic (www.sonomic.com) today announced an exclusive partnership with world-renowned sample production company Q Up Arts. Under the terms of the agreement, Sonomic has exclusive rights to digitally distribute twenty-two Q Up Arts titles in .wav and .aiff formats. This collection includes top selling titles "Steve Gadd Drum Scores," "Latin Groove Factory, (Vols. 1-3)" and "Pandora’s Tool Box by David Torn."


The selected Q Up Arts titles are currently available through the Sonomic web site, including the company’s latest releases "Voices of Istanbul" and "Kodish Drum & Bass." All samples can be purchased from Sonomic on an individual basis, so users only pay for what they want. Users can search Sonomic for particular Q Up Arts samples by instrument, style, key, artist and title, among other search parameters. All samples can be previewed in RealAudio and Windows Media formats before being purchased, and can be downloaded in .wav and .aiff.
